Professor Peter Schroth has an MFA from the University of Colorado and a BFA from Syracuse University. He teaches at the Savannah College of Art and Design. In addition to numerous college teaching positions he has also taught landscape painting workshops at the Amalfi Coast Music and Arts Festival in Italy, Mass Art/Art New England and South Shore Art Center in Cohasset, MA. Schroth has exhibited widely and is represented in New York City by Sears Peyton Gallery and has had fellowship residencies at the Ballinglen Arts Foundation, the MacDowell Colony and Yaddo. He has received grants from the Pollock Krasner Foundation, the Elizabeth Foundation, and the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
