Major exhibitions are curated using the entire pool of Ballinglen Fellows, many in response to invitations from institutions such as The RHA Gallagher Gallery, Dublin, Riverbank Arts Centre, Newbridge, Kildare, The Contemporary Art Society, London, The Art Institute of New Hampshire, Manchester, The Art Alliance, Philadelphia, Glucksman Ireland House, New York University, The McMullen Museum of Art, Boston College, The U.S. Ambassador's Residence, Dublin, The List Gallery, Swarthmore College, Pennsylvania, Concord Art Association, Massachusetts, Linenhall Arts Centre, Castlebar, Mayo. Catalogues documenting works by Ballinglen Fellows, that accompany these important exhibition opportunities for Ballinglen Fellows, are often produced. In addition, an awareness of the unique qualities of North County Mayo is fostered abroad, encouraging cultural and green tourism in the area.
