This exhibition is part of a series of Permanent Collection Exhibitions selected in rotation by members of the team at The Ballinglen Arts Foundation.
Artist fellow and part time Learning Curator Nuala Clarke selected this work.
Lacuna - an unfilled space; a gap, from Latin, ‘pool’, from lacus ‘lake’. A pause in activity, a gap, is full of all that was or can be. At the cusp, middle or end of stillness reverberations echo through the heart. Traces of movement reflect. All colour mixes down to one.
