In memory and recognition of our great friend Jim this year’s schools programme was built around his last body of work - 72 pieces which culminated in the Ballinglen Museum Exhibition Currach and Stone. Students from 10 local National Schools visited Ballinglen for the day, took a look at his motifs and methods and interpreted it for themselves through collage.
Thanks to the children and teachers from Rathlee, Mountpalmer, Corballa, Cooneal, Carn, Culleens, Glenamoy, Templemary, Killala and Social Neifinn national schools.
We’d like to acknowledge and thank The James Edward Scherbarth & Paul Francis Mosley Foundation for their generous funding of this year’s programme.
