Ballycastle Series: W-N314, 2010
There are times in one’s life when elements come together and make a difference. A residency (March/April 2010) was one of those times. The work was in a transitional period about then. Having a beautiful studio, the time to reflect, and experiment was just the prescription needed to inform current work. The incredibly beautiful architecture, landscape, light, and continually variable sky of County Mayo were all inspirational and supportive to this developmental, artistic journey. - Thomas Roese
