Sara Post is a graduate of the experimental ceramics graduate program at Northern Arizona University where she earned a Master’s degree in art education. Her distinctive glaze painted ceramic wall works are included in the American Craft Museum and the Smithsonian Institution.
Post turned to printmaking and painting full time in 2015 following residencies at Il Bisonte Press in Florence Italy, Mendocino Art Center in Mendocino California and Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art in North Adams, Massachusetts. Her prize winning work in oil and cold wax is featured in Cold Wax Medium Techniques, Concepts and Conversations by Rebecca Crowell and Jerry MacLaughlin. She works and teaches in Davis, California and in art centers around the United States.
