Nuala Clarke, a visual artist, was born in Dublin, educated at the National College of Art & Design in Dublin. graduating in 1993. Afterward, she moved to New York City. In 2007 she received a fellowship to The Ballinglen Arts Foundation and began returning to Ireland from NY to work every year. In 2013 she moved full time to the West of Ireland. Nuala is represented by Sara Nightingale in Sag Harbor, New York, exhibits extensively in Ireland, Europe, and the US and her work is held in many public and private collections. In 2020 she received a bursary award from The Arts Council of Ireland.
Her teaching style, based on professional experience, focuses on strengthening the students relationship to personal vision.
