At the inception of creating the company, The Ballinglen Arts Foundation, founders Margo Dolan and Peter Maxwell created a US corporation, The Artist In Rural Ireland Fund - now Ballinglen: USA/IRELAND

Ballinglen: USA/IRELAND is an IRS recognised 501 (c)(3) corporation. US resident taxpayers donate to this organisation to support The Ballinglen Arts Foundation and receive the appropriate tax benefit.

Ballinglen: USA/IRELAND started with the specific purpose of enabling interested US resident taxpayers and supporters of Ballinglen to make contributions and to receive tax benefits for doing so. It has been and continues to be a great assistance to the work of Ballinglen.
