Ballinglen Arts Foundation
The Foundation was incorporated in Ireland as a non-profit company in 1993 with registration number 8200832h and established as a registered Irish Charity (chy 11019) in 1994. It has been approved for tax-deductible donations under Section 848A of the Tax Consolidation Act of 1997. Its accounts are audited annually by Gilroy Gannon and submitted to the Revenue Commissioners and The Arts Council for review.
The Foundation is supported by The Arts Council, The Ireland Funds, The Mayo County Council, The Boston Foundation, The Leo Model Foundation, and by individuals. As a matter of principle the Foundation has never asked for financial support from the local community.
